Sounds like a network problem or perhaps the machine's NIC card (the one
having intermittent dbaccess connection problems as well) is going south.

I am also getting intermittent problems connecting to databases using
dbaccess (on the same physical box). I do not see any errors in the logs..

We are running ER and HDR (shared disk secondary servers)

Any ideas?
