y volver a instalarlo e instalar asimismo la base. Sabeis de alguna

Hola:
Lo primero que deberias de hacer es VERIFICAR LA INTEGRIDAD de la
data
y por tanto de dicha Base de Datos. Esto lo puedes hacer mediante linea
de comando:
oncheck -cr
oncheck -ce
oncheck -cc database_name
oncheck -cDI database_name

Estos comandos te pueden permitir conocer los errores de tu BD y en
algunos de los casos hasta corregir.
Dependiendo de dicha informacion, hasle un dbexport a dicha base de
datosy si esta acaba satisfactoriamente, para que no te quede ninguna
duda de INTEGRIDAD, vuelve a recrear tu BD con un dbimport.

How important is the data ?

With later versions of Informix,
oninit -ivy

will recreate the database without re-installing. WARNING - this will
destroy
all your existing data.

Tal vez debes apagar Informix primero con onmode -ky antes de ejecutar el
oninit

Una breve nota: oninit -ivy borrara TODAS las bases de datos que tengas.

Gracias por responder. El servidor esta con windows 2000 server y la
version del informix es la Informix Dynamic Server 7.31.TD1 for
Windows NT/2000. Si intento un oninit -ivy me da un problema de share
memory y no sigue. Se queda en quiescent mode y no me deja hacer nada.
