Fellow Informixers:

I'm looking for new ideas for a presentation or two to prepare for the 2011
IIUG Conference in mid May. I can update some older ones that I haven't
given in a while, and there are always new faces at the conferences that
haven't seen them at all, but I enjoy putting new ones together. The only
problem is, I've run out of ideas.

Anyone have a wish list of presentations they would like to see at the IIUG
Conference that they haven't seen before or ones that haven't been presented
in a few years that you'd like to see refreshed? While mostly this is for
me personally, however, even if you don't think your idea is one that I'd be
interested in pursuing, post it anyway (or send it to me directly of you are
shy or lurking), I'll pass the list on to other presenters and to some
IBMers to see if anyone else is interested in putting something together.

No guarantees, even if I put a presentation deck together there's no knowing
if the CPC will find room for me to present it, but if the idea is popular,
well....

Aw Jerry, that's too obvious and bound to be rejected based on the reference to Oracle or Microsoft.

Why not start slow.
Like how to integrate DB2 in to your IDS environment.

And then at the IIUG conference announce a special that you can get a free license of DB2 for each license of IDS so you get 2 licenses for the price of one. In short, you get a free copy of DB2 so that eventually you'll fall in love with DB2 and then convert all of your software over to DB2.
