I was talking to a consultant who's on site.

He was saying that he's never heard of a relational database in a high availability environment where there wasn't some manual intervention when it had to fail over to the secondary.

So my question is... "Has anyone had a personal experience where they had an IDS fail and then the secondary automatically took over?
