Hi All

Has anyone ever run Informix on Windows using an account other than
the Informix account?
It is being suggested that we run it as a Windows Domain/System
Account instead but I don't know if that will even work or not - We
have always run Informix using the Informix account in the UNIX world
and think that is the way to go in the windows world as well but are
unsure how that works.

Coincidentally, I installed IDS 11.50.TC5WE only this morning using a
local system account rather than informix. So far I've not seen any
problems, but early days obviously.
