But you will need to make sure to have fencing set up or RHCM will not work at all. Yes, I know. We've done both. I think using GFS for /opt/informix makes things neater. |

We too are in the same situation. That is to say, we really need to upgrade to RHEL 5, but are holding back from upgrading IDS 10.xC6 for the same worrisome bug and it is too soon to for us to recommend an upgrade to IDS 11. Will 10.xC5 be supported on RHEL 5 and/or when will 10.xC7 be available? |

Hi Neil,
Thank you for contacting the IBM Technical Support department for Informix
software.
We would like to confirm that IDS 10 and 11 are certified for RedHat Linux
V5 (V5 certifications for IDS 10 have been completed on x86, x86_64 and
POWER platforms).
Please be aware that Version 5 won't be certified for IDS 9.40.
Therefore, we will accept calls for IDS 10.00.FC5 on RedHat Linux V5 as long
as valid maintenance is in place.
