Still waiting for a response from IBM tech supp on this here in the UK.
cf. previous posts, we're upgrading tools from 7.20 to 7.32 on HP-UX
11.11 (aka 11i).
All the stuff we use (SQL, I4gl, R4GL) is shown available at version
7.32 HC2 for this platform apart from the 4GL debugger (IDB) which has
HC2 for Itanium (aka titanicum) but at HC3 for PA-RISC processors. And,
to confuse matters more, there are two different downloads available,
one marked for HPUX 11.x, the other for HP-UX 11i - the downloads have
different part numbers too (C8535NA and C8537NA).
Looking further, C8537NA is the same part number as that for Solaris
UC3 release.
Any clues anyone? Neil?

Actually scratch a large part of that - looks like HC3 is available for
all tools now (weren't there yesterday, I'm certain....maybe IBM have
altered PPA in the intervening period) but it still shows versions for
11.x & also 11i although the same AIX/11i anomaly applies for the
IDB.....
Which should I go for - the 11.x version or the 11i version? (Both are
32 bit machine releases)

if you are still waiting for a response from support, have you phoned
and asked to speak to a manager if you are not happy with the progress
of a particular case you have open?

My network administrator's going to be p*ssed off, as the 11i version
of I4GL is 134Mb as opposed to 94Mb for the 11.x, quite a jump from the
86Mb for 7.20.
Oh and another thing .... SQL is only available at 11.x release.
