They did it with IDS 7.x once… That was the reason to get rid of Online 5 and SCO in the past

Subject: To IBM: This is possible?
Some day.. Informix Innovator-C + OpenAdmin incoming in DVD on Suse, RedHat, Ubutun and orders distributions?
Will be cool, when go to install some Linux, just select the Informix package and have Informix and OpenAdmin installed....
I know.. have the redistribution limit in the license... but, if this is possible, I believed will increase very fast the range of new users....
The IBM have some intention to talk with Data Centers where today we have ours sites/blogs in small and tiny VMs running mostly with MySQL/Postgre ... open the opportunity to change the database to Informix?
In other words, permits and help data centers to offer Informix Innovator-C as database to small sites using content managers like Drupal and Joomla... or any others software...
We can have any hope in see something like this this year ???
