Default GUI Front-ends for IDS - 07-02-2010 , 11:10 AM

So my apologies for being "out of touch" for awhile, but ...

What is falling out as the "favorite" for front-end, GUI-based admin
for IDS? I don't mean monitoring only, but initial setup, config,
tuning, etc. I know there is OAT, SS, and others from IBM. Haven't
checked out Data Studio yet, but...

Comments?

Thanks!

OAT and SS. Data Studio, I think, is a dead issue. Personally, I prefer
Server Studio myself.

OAT is pretty good with SQL monitoring, Mach 11 pictures, and sysadmin
stuff (dbscheduler). But Server Studio slaughters it for SQL editing,
data editing, db diff, data diff, test data generation, and tons more
features. I use Server Studio every day. I use OAT a couple times per
month, maybe. OAT is worth downloading. Server Studio is worth paying
for.
