Default DataBlade modules licencing - 09-09-2011 , 06:39 AM






Hi all.

Before i suggest the option to CTO.... anyone knows how DataBlade
modules are licenced (we have several IDSs) ?

And some aprox. costs of buy: Excalibur Text Search DataBlade ?

This is a separately charged product and licensed using PVU, Concurrent

You should note that the Basic Text Datablade is free and included with your
Informix engine. If you are using 11.70 it will automatically initialize
itself the first time you use it (in 11.50 you'll have to install it
yourself). If the BTS functionality is sufficient for you, you won't have
to spend to license Excalibur.
