After changing the hostname of Windows, Informix fails to work.
I also try to change the old hostname to new hostname under the
registry of
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Informix\OnLine\"IDS_s erver_name"
Any other steps are required ?

You may have to change stuff in the registry (sqlhosts stuff) using
setnet32

an error message why it does not want to start is helpfull;
goto the cmd line (in informix program group there should be a cmd
icon which sets your env correct.)

then

cd %INFORMIXDIR%\etc

write %ONCONFIG%

search for MSGPATH which should point to a file. in there there should
be a message why it does not want to start.
