Default 32 bit ODBC on Windows 2008 64 bits - 03-08-2010 , 08:47 AM

Hi !

I have a case in which a third party application requires that we use
the 32 bit ODBC driver from IBM for Informix, but we want it to run on
a Windows 2008 64 bit OS.

I have tried to read the release notes and search information on the
Internet, but I have only found some postings in which it does seem to
work to use a 32 bit driver on 64 bit Windows versions before Windows
2008. The T version for 32 bits is not certified as I understand on
the 64 bit version, as the F version is, but it might be possible
anyhow.

Grateful for any input on this

Regards

Ulf

I am running into this exact same issue. Were you able to find a workable solution?

Yes, it works fine for us using the 32 bit ODBC driver on a 64 bit
Windows platform. The application itself (Business Objects) is 32 bit
