This is on Windows Server 2008 32 bit.
After uninstall if 11.70xC1 and install of 11.70xC3, and changing root space location in onconfig and then a restart,
the conversions ran fine except for this:

I was logged on as informix.
I wonder why it failed and what it would have done if it had processed.
Everything seems to run ok, but I get the following every hour:

12:06:03 SCHAPI: [Low Memory Reconfig 37-1] Error -206 The specified table (sysmaster:syslowmemorymgr) is not in the database.
12:06:03 SCHAPI: [Low Memory Reconfig 37-1] Error -111 ISAM error: no record found.

What is causing this and should I expect other problems?

The sysmaster database was not rebuilt after the upgrade. There should be a
script, buildsmi.bat, probably in %INFORMIXDIR%\etc. Run that script and it
will drop and recreate the sysmaster database to include the new tables that
11.70.xC3 expects to see.

Ok, since IDS would not stay up, I ran the buildsmi.bat again and when it paused, I started IDS in another window.
This time, the ids log has this...

I better leave it for now. I have user coming in to beat on it tomorrow.
What do you think is causing the “SCHAPI:� errors?

I have more trouble than I thought.
The sysmaster database does not exist anymore.
What would you suggest?

The buildsmi.bat failed again after dropping the old sysmaster database.
Running it again should fix that. That said, you do not need sysmaster for
the engine to run. It is there just for you as DBA to monitor the server.
The SCHAPI errors are because the sysadmin database was not updated either
during the upgrade. There is a script for building that one as well, but
all you have to do is to drop sysadmin and bounce the instance. If there is
no sysadmin at startup the engine will run the build script itself and
create it. If you had anything in sysadmin that you want to keep, like
tasks that you had scheduled, you can unload those records and reload them
after the rebuild or just enter it all again.
