Hi Group,

Does anyone know how to connect a Windows 95 client to an IBM DB2 UDB
Express 8.1 running on top of Linux. I need to connect an MS Acces
application by use of an ODBC interface. Apparently IBM does not provide
support for the windows 95 platform. It would be nice not to upgrade the
Windows OS due to other apps.

If you dont need any specific v8 client feature (just need ODBC
connection)
you may use v7 client fixpack 8 or higher (recommended) for v8
connectivity.

DB2 v7 Run-Time Client Fixpack 8 can be found at
ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/db2/fixes
