Hi Group, I've a short question: Thinking about blocked bufferpool (yes, we use this) sizing... Does DB2 ever use blocked area (or vectored only) for temp objects (DGTT, sort, ...)? THX in advance, Stefan |

Hi Group, it seems, I've found an answer: On 1 data partition we have for a BP temp access only: log. read: 256 mio phy. read: *12 mio and it is split in vectored/blocked with 0.5 mio and 10.8 mio. Unread prefetch is 4.5 thousand - this seems OK for me. But "No victim page found" 13.6 mio! Do I have to bother? DB2_USE_ALTERNATE_PAGE_CLEANING is NOT activated - the docs say, it can be ignored, but why/what does this value mean anyway? THX, Stefan On Apr 11, 4:35*pm, "stefan.albert" <stefan.alb...
