I'd like to create a datebase containing Russian data. I have
installed DB2 in English, as I have many other databases in English.
I set the country and codepage of the new database to Russia, but when
I try to connect I get the error:

SQL0332N There is no available conversion for the source code page
"1252" to

the target code page "1251". Reason Code "1". SQLSTATE=57017

Anything I can do?

Thanks

There are actually 2 PCs I would like to apply this to.
The first is Windows 2000 running version 7, and the other is Windows XP with DB2 v8

Thanks

There is a registry varible that can help you here. Check

db2set DB2CODEPAGE=1252
