It is an NT machine and I think the CPU (dual Xeon 2 GHz) is fine. I just
reviewed memory usage (we have 1 GB) and I am pretty sure I am running into
paging issues, which might explain the delays I am seeing.
Even still, I would like to know the answer to my second question:
2. Could I be running into garbage collection issues with the JDBC code? If
so, is there any way to tune the JVM that the JDBC driver uses for garbage
collection?
Thanks,
-Bill

I'd try VALUES(1)
What's the capacity of the host machine.
- Does it have enought CPU and memory?
- Is it NT or Unix platform? |
