Default Index Creation and PAGE SPLIT options - 12-15-2010 , 12:24 PM





Hi.

We have several cases where, in reading the documentation, we should
be creating indexes with PAGE SPLIT HIGH (instead of PAGE SPLIT
SYMETRIC, which is the default).

Does anyone know what the performance benefits in practice are for
this, both for load times and searching times?
