Default db2_all give connection refused error - 12-27-2011 , 03:53 AM

Hello ,

We have an issue on one our production DB .
db2_all command doesnt work and gives "connection refused " error.
Everything looks fine . db2nodes.cfg , .rhosts , /etc/hosts file all
are fine .
Even application is able to access and query the DB .
But we want to fix this db2_all issue as we suspect it could cause
some issues in future .

db2_all & rah gives the same error .

rah date also gives the same error.

Any clues where the issue is ?

Thanks in advance.

What platform are you running on?
Was this working before?
Did the system administrator disable the rlogin service or enable a
firewall on the boxes?

This sounds rather like an OS problem. The db2_all command makes use of the
underlaying OS technology which is either a rsh or ssh access, depending on
the DB2RSHCMD registry variable.

Try to run a command via rsh and ssh and see, if it works.
