Default DB2 V7 Fixpak 10 - problem with command line - 08-28-2003 , 07:06 AM

Regards!
After installing Fixpak 10 on DB2 V7.2 (FP3, AIX 4.3.3) and migrating the
instance to the new Fix level, the instance owner is unable to issue any DB2
commands from the command line (Korn shell in my case):

Quote:
db2level
DB21085I Instance "db2" uses DB2 code release "SQL07028" with level
identifier
"03090105" and informational tokens "DB2 v7.1.0.82", "s030617" and
"U488490".
Quote:
db2start
SQL1063N DB2START processing was successful.
db2 list applications
SQL1032N No start database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019
db2 connect to ppz
SQL1032N No start database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019
db2start
SQL1026N The database manager is already active.

Has someone experienced anything like this?
How do I get out of this one?
The strangest thing is that remote connections (through TCP/IP) work OK!?!
(control center also connects without problems)

Regards,
Damir Wilder

run ~/sqllib/db2profile file to set the environment variables in the
current shell, then try again.

otherwise, go to ~/sqllib/bin directory and then from there try again.

If there are few different DB2 instalations on the machine, be sure that
LIBPATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH are set up correctly (not mixed up through
different instances/versions).
