Default DB2 and JDBC - 08-16-2003 , 05:54 AM

Does DB2/2 (ie for OS/2) V7.1/7.2 have/support JDBC 2.0?

V6.1 and V7 support JDBC V1.

But does V7.x support JDBC V2.0?

If not why not?

Does the underlying DB2/2 support two phase commits? (ie XA)

If it doesn't then that probably explains why no JDBC V2.0.

Thanks!

-Chris

PS: Can anyone from IBM please answer this?

I just answered your first posting. Please be patient, we've been in the
dark lately (literally, not just figuratively) because of the massive power
problems here in eastern North America.

I guess I didn't address the 2nd part of your question. I'm almost
positive the answer is "yes", though I have no experience with it.
