Calling AIX shell script from a trigger

Hello:

My question is the following:

I want to create a trigger that, if row is updated on table, executes
an AIX Shell Script.
DB2 version: 8.2

Is there a possibility to do this?

Yes, you can do that via external routines. Have a look here:
