i am not familiar to GUPTA. We have a 5.0 Version which should be
ported to
8.0 (or something like this). How can i transfer the files and make
the server working ? What do i need and what steps will i have to
pass.

If somebody can give a hint to a document or an instruction how to
does to i would be very pleased.

This newsgroup does not seem to get much activity. I suggest you add Gupta's
news server, nntp://talkto.centurasoft.com, to your news reader and post
your question in the forum.sqlbase newsgroup. Gupta's staff definitely
monitors that newsgroup.

The process probably involves unloading the data to a file and then loading
the file into a database in the new version, but I am sure Gupta's support
staff can spell out the exact process for you.
