Hello,
I recently updated a client's Mac server from FMS8 to FMS10. (They
purchased a new server with OS X Server 10.6.)
I was very surprised to see just how different the FileMaker Server
setup and procedures are now. (A Java app?) I wasn't expecting such a
big change, given that FMS10 hosts the same database format as FM7,
FM8 and FM9--and that it supports clients back to FM8.
I'm hoping for some feedback from anyone about whether there are
issues with FMS10's changes, and how reliable it's been for you.
Thanks!

The only issues I've had with it (not specifically FMS *10*, but more
with FMS *9*) was when 9 would break the admin app when Apple would
release a Java update.
I don't think this has happened with FMS 10, but happened a couple of
times (IIRC) with FMS 9.
Other than that, I've had zero problems with 10 (or 9 for that
matter...)
