Default What is saved from Print Setup - 06-08-2005 , 04:09 PM

Hello,
I am helping a user get his print settings to his liking.
v.5 Runtime solution.
I had him open Print Setup and specify the right printer (it was set
incorrectly before). After closing and reopening the solution, the
right printer had become the default. So far so good. Then, he wanted
printing to always start with economy/draft quality. We tried setting
that with Print Setup but that wouldn't stick. He says our solution
defaulted to that before but doesn't now.
I guess I'm wondering if Filemaker saves all the specs from Print Setup
or just some of the main ones such as printer.
In a full version of Filemaker, we could get the quality setting to
hold but not, so far, with the runtime solution.
Bill

Are you using a script that has the Page Setup[Restore] command in it??
When it's run it will reset the Page Setup information to whatever was
saved with the script, therefore overridding the manual settings.
