Does anyone know if 8.0 will run on Vista (windows). I have called FM
and their answer was "they didn't know".

No version of FMP has currently been 'certified' for Vista. It is
therefore not an installation that is supported by FileMaker. I've
heard that others have discovered minor issues with this combination,
but nothing major. Of course, this isn't to say that one of the minor
issues won't be the one that you happen to come across.
