Default View Address Labels - Can Not View ALL records - 02-09-2007 , 07:55 PM

I am having trouble viewing records in "View Address Labels".
I am only getting one record in the top left hand corner when I use this
option.

I was getting ready to print and adjusted the text in Layout Mode.
Before I adjusted the text I could see all the records but now I only
see one record for each page.

This has happened before but since then I have forgotten how to get it
to show ALL records. If I did anything...

Any help would be nice.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You didn't say how you know there's only one record (ie. on screen or
printed out).

When in Browse Mode, View As Form (from the View menu) will display
only the current record. Even though you only see one record, all the
records in the found set will be printed (see exception below). Choose
View As List and you can see all the records in the Found Set, but they
will look like one long list, not two / three columns of labels.

If there's only one record in the Found Set then you will still only
see one when viewed as a list. You can get *ALL* the records by
choosing Show All Records from the Records menu.

When printing a layout you may get only one record if you've set the
options in the print window to print only the "Current Record" instead
of "Records being browsed". Where this options appears depends on the
printer driver software, but it is somewhere in the window when you
choose the Print command (for some printers it's directly in the
window, for others you may need to go via a pop-up menu option or
button).

Often, when you see only one record when 'everything' is set to see many, and after you 'adjusted the text in Layout Mode', as you said, it is because your fields are not 100% within the 'Body' part, but are a bit overlapping - even 1 pixel is enough - on the part just above (Heading or Sub-Summary).
Else, of course, as usual, what Harry said applies fully.

Ah, of course. I'd forgotten about that particular possibility for
"one" record. )
