Default Value list problem - 04-13-2007 , 06:50 AM

Hi,
I have problem with value list.

Mac OSX 10.4.9, FMP Advance 8.5

I have two tables; Users and orders

Within user table I have following fields:
Name
Last name
IDname (Calculation field = Name &" "&Last Name)

Within orders I have field called USER:

I created value list called users: Users::IDName

When I want to input data in field user, within table orders, ONLY FIRST
RECORD is SHOWN. (When I delete first record, next one will be
shown, but always only first record).

When I change value list and instead of: Users::IDName, create value
list : Users::last name, I am able to see all last names from records
within users table.

Tomislav

I found solution. In calculation, result was number instead of text. Now
I have list of all names in table orders. It is amazing how small things
can make me completly mad.
