A client is running 8.0 sharing with a small number of users via IWP.
There is no Server Advanced.

2 people (one of whom is me) also occasionally access the database via
filemaker networking.

Sometimes we will discover that the text in a field has been duplicated
within that field 100 or more times.

So if the field originally contained...


"just this text"

Now it contains

"just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
just this text
etc."

Anybody seen this happen before? Do you know why it happens? What to
do?
