FM Pro 8.5 Adv I have a problem with printing a report, which is the data from a single record. The report includes several text fields, which can vary in size from a blank field to a single line field to a multiple line field. Due to the fact they can vary in size I have set 'Sliding up based on All above' and 'Also reduce the size of the enclosing part'. The problem I am experiencing is the top line of a multiple line field is not being printed. This field is just after a page boundary so I have made sure that it and all other fields are not overlapping or touching the page boundaries. I have Layout Set-up Views set to 'Form View'; the Layout Set-up Printing set to 'Use fixed page margins' (0cm for all top bottom left and right) - Although problem is still present whether option set or not. I'm stumped as to what to try next to solve the problem. |

The MINIMUM / SMALLEST margin for most desktop printers should be: inkjet = 1.27cm (0.5in) laser = 0.64cm (0.25in) The bottom margin often needs to be a little bigger on inkjet printers. Make your margins this size or bigger and your "missing line" will very likely re-appear. Helpful Harry Hopefully helping harassed humans happily handle handiwork hardships ;o) |

Thanks for that Harry, seems to cure the problem. I notice that if I save as a PDF the problem is still present. I guess the solution to that would be to increase the margins further - I will experiment! |
