Default Table view copy - 10-24-2006 , 02:53 AM

I'm viewing data in a table , BUT can I copy it like Excel
I would like to select multiple rows.

Can this be done?

PS. I do not wan't to add check boxes for picking and filtering the rows
,but only the shift & ctrl keys

thanks

Savvas,

You can "Copy All Records" to put what you're seeing as the found set on to
the clipboard.

Unfortunately, no... you cannot select multiple records with the shift and
control keys. FileMaker allows only one record to be "selected" at a time.
You would have to use the checkbox method of "marking" records, change the
found set to include only those marked records, and then use the "Copy All
Records" command.
