I don't know, but can you tell me more about this function. Right now, it is a huge pain to import data from identical databases with multiple tables. You have to do a separate Import for each table. Does feature allow you to import that data with a single command? |

Well that's a start. You should have been able to import field definitions for a long time now. |

The new features in FM8 seem more like bells & whistles than fundamental functions that would make our lives easier. |

Some of them yes: (pdf, xls, alignment tool, email-a-field...) others no: table import defs, tabs, script variables Its a pretty good mix actually of bells and whistles and new features. Like the others though I am seriously missing the ability to view relationships as text. The graph has its place... but... |

Back to the original question. . . Is the table import feature a part of the regular edition or only the Advanced Version (formerly developer)? In article <SIzSe.8201$OT1.6809 (AT) fe09 (DOT) lga>, epiphany (AT) optonline (DOT) net says... Thanks. . . Actually basic table import appears to be in 8 "regular". But advanced will let you copy and paste tables, field defs, scripts, and script steps. -Dave |
