My client is a school district. We have a database that a very limited
group of students accesses through Instant Web Publishing. It runs off
of regular filemaker (8.0) on a Windows machine.

The teacher and I also access the database through Filemaker Network
sharing.

What I am about to describe only happens with Web Access, NOT with
filemaker access.

On certain layouts ONLY. When the student presses SUBMIT, the text data
in one or more fields will be duplicated. These fields are not
necessarily the ones that were being edited. The two layouts where
this behavior occurs both have portals on them. The fields whose text
gets duplicated are NOT in the portals.

Any ideas?
