I'am using FM 9. I've created a layout with a calculated field on it. This calculation makes from 2 fields say ' Mr. Robinson'. If the first field (' Mr') is empty the calculation returns 'Robinson', if the first field is not empty it calculates: <firstfield> + <space> + secondfield>. Now I want to sort the record on the second field. But the second field is not visible on the layout so (?) I can't sort on this second field. Greetings, Kees |

Greetings, Kees You can sort on any fields in the parent or related table, whether or not they are visible on the layout. There is a selector above the pane that lists the available fields. By default it is selected to the "Current Layout." However you can manually select "Current Table" or any other related table. |
