Is it possible to share filemaker files with the trial version of filemaker? I get an error when I attempt to do this. |
|
I've tried to do something similar with the FileMaker Advanced, but for some reason I cannot see the database files (only the server names) when I try to connect from a different computer. |

Check out the "can't access remote file" thread for help with this issue. Hope this helps -- FW |

I recently purchased Filemaker and am looking to share the file across the network with two other users. I can share the file just fine with one user, but when the other user attempts to access the file, Filemaker closes and gives an error (maximum # of users exceeded) and closes. The two other computers only have the trial version installed. The two other users basically perform data entry. Could the trial version be the issue? |

Any workarounds? |

If it's not possible to share with more than two users - how do I go about exporting the file - retaining the layout and such? I've tried this but it seems very difficult to go back and match up the fields each time. Any insight would be most appreciated. Thanks. |
