Default Setting the name of a window - 12-16-2006 , 02:47 PM

Hi...

If I call Open Window from an existing window (via a button), and the
calling window is called "Setup",
the new window is opened with the name "Setup" in the titlebar.

Any way I can set the name of the new window to something else?

TIA,
Joe

Look at the options for the script step which opens the new window. You have the opportunity there to give the new window a different name.

Look at "Windows Script Steps" in Help.

isn't this a fm7 and up functionality?
The OP didn't state his version. (as to be expected)

From the description of what happens (the fact that a new window is opened), I think it safe to assume it's at least 7. If not, then it can't be done anyway, so it is somewhat moot.

Otherwise, "Version not specified, answer assumes 8.5."
