WINDOWS / FM 11 Script to send one email per selected record in the
found set via email client worked all weekend, with outlook
express..... but NOT today anymore..... the To: field refuses to
populate when activated by the button....while all the other fields in
the subject line and 10 fields in the body calc poplulate
correctly...any clues? guesses? rants help please... lol just
help....

Check in FileMaker that the Field actually contains the data you think it
does (which may mean creating a temporary Layout). Maybe the Relationship
has been altered by accident.

thanks, before I read what your suggested, I accessed the database
server ( fms 11) , through a hamachi vpn using fm7 on a vista
machine..... the script works again.... with windows mail ..after I
configured windows mail to work with smtp.gmail.com


When I get back into the office I will check what you mentioned....
maybe my smtp settings went wrong on the office machine....

It more likely to be a hiccup with FileMaker and the email application -
they tend to play strange games. You might be better to send the emails
directly from FileMaker (you can always BCC yourself if you need a copy in
your email application).
