I suspect this is a silly question - I hope not! I have a report layout (in FM8/PC), on which I list occurrences of Field A for each occurrence of Field B, so each page looks like: Field B (sub-summary) ------------------------------- Field A (body rec) Field A (body rec) Field A (body rec) etc... So the layout "shows records from" Table A (which contains Field A). And, specifying Field B as the sort order, the report works fine. My problem comes when I want to print a single page of the report, i.e. for one occurrence of Field B. If I specify "Print: current record", obviously that relates to a single occurrence of Field A, which isn't what I want - I want the current occurrence of Field B. |

Thanks Harry. I should've been able to work that out for myself - maybe I'm not cut out for this! I really appreciate your clear explanation. |
