I've got a field in a DB that collects the Title of a presentation. The data comes from the presenters themselves and capitalization is random. Some capitalize like it's a sentence, others use Title caps. I want to use a calc to replace the randomness with a consistent "style", but the hitch to simply using the PROPER function are abbreviations used in titles. "HIV," "AIDS", "U.S.", "DNA", etc... are converted to "Hiv," "Aids", "U.s.", Dna" when you use the PROPER function. Any suggestions on a calc that capitalizes words and not abbreviations? |
