Default Searching FMP DB from Finder - 11-07-2011 , 12:27 PM

Is there any way to do this? On my Mac - to use the finder and search
for a specific word or phrase that may be in my FMPro DB.

Thanks,

Bruce

No.

However the last couple of versions of FileMaker have a generalized Find
capability to find text occurring in any field. You can also replace
text in any field using the Edit>>Find/Replace command.

The field has to be on the current layout.

This capability is available in FileMaker 11, and I think FileMaker 10.
I don't remember what is the earliest version that has this capability.
