We have been sending a small .fp5 data file as an Outlook Express email attachment using a script in Filemaker. We recently 'upgraded' to Outlook 2003 desktop client. Ever since then when the script runs the user has to wait 5 seconds on a Microsoft Office Outlook dialog box warning that "A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your behalf. Do you want to allow this?...etc... Yes No Help" Not only is this really irritating but it seems to be preventing some of the emails from being sent, even though the Yes option is always selected. Is there a configuration checkbox in Outlook that I can disable this with? Alternatively, is there a Filemaker command that I can capture a return code with that indicates when the email has been sent? My theory is that some emails are not being sent because FM is simply rusinh through the 'master daily emailsend' script which calls each individual's email script without waiting for a return code. Therefore while the user is waiting on the dialog box to enable the 'yes' button another sub-script has been called and executed consequently falling into a crack. tia Steve |

I've run across this same issue. Unfortunately, 2003 doesn't (last I checked) have a preference setting for this. However, there are freeware (or inexpensive) programs who's sole purpose is to click yes in the dialog whenever it shows up. One of those, can be downloaded here: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/clickyes.html -- Shadenfroh shadenfroh (AT) yahoo (DOT) com "news1.itcdeltacom.com" <info (AT) dcs (DOT) com> wrote in message news:ee813$42f1ffc6$d1a8fa82$26844 (AT) EDELTACOM (DOT) COM...
