Is it possible for the screen on layouts NOT to fliker (flash)
when clicking on a layout ?
What do you mean, when exactly does it flicker or flash?
It -does- flash when you change from layout to different layout as it
redraws the whole window. But while on the same layout, it shouldn't
flash.
There are also some 'design' choices that do lead to more flicker-prone
layouts -- eg using container fields for layout graphical or background
elements. |
If there's a lot of flicker during a script then there is the Freeze
Window script command which can help while FileMaker is performing
other script commands and then you can refresh the window at the end
(or FileMaker will do it automatically when the script ends).
