Default Scanning Records - 03-16-2010 , 09:07 AM

Hi,

How can I set a window with Button to scan all the records, Let me explain I
have several windows set in 'View as Form' and I hide the status Area, but I
would like to review some other records by adding arrows to go to next
record or the previous record with out Exposing the Status Area.

After all that what, command will do this for me.

I am using FP9-PRO
Windows XP

Charlie

Create a layout with list view. Or use list view on the one you have,
each window has its own found set.

use the navigation script steps to go to the previous/next record.

Add two buttons to the Layout and define them as "Go to Record [Next]" and
"Go To Record [Previous]". The buttons can say whatever you want, or if you
want to be fancy you can have actual arrow graphics defined as buttons.

Usually I would put these and other 'navigation' buttons (e.g. New Record,
Delete Record, etc.) into either the Header of Footer Part of the Layout.
