That's called a ScreenDump. Windows supports that natively, but you can
better use some software (free) like PicPick.
Install
press PrtScn button for whole screen, or press shift-PrtScn to select a part
of the screen. Look at the preferences for all other options

Be aware that there are copyrights on Googlemap images for anything else
then private use.

Keep Well, Ursus

On a Mac use Grab. You can capture the image of the screen, a window, or
any selected part of the screen. Grab comes installed with Mac OS X. is
in the Utilities folder, within the Applications folder.

Even better, just use the built-in system hot-keys, which give you more
options and save you having to find and launch Grab. For example, to take
a picture of part of the screen use cmd-shift-4, move the pointer over
the window to select it, then release the mouse button. There are other
options for more fine-grained selection, capturing menus, etc.

Yes, in FM12 the insert URL works fine if you have the image url.

You'll better open up the location in google maps, or google earth
(whichever you prefer) and use a regular screendump. There are several
freeware screendump programs. I do use Pickpic.

You may want to check out the MBS Filemaker plugin.
