I am new to Filemaker - just converted my Access database over and can't generate this report. The report that prints all of the class rosters for the classes in the database. I used the column report with summaries and the report looks OK, but the page breaks don't work. In the trailing summary based on the class name, I selected the page break after 1 occurance (thinking I would get a new page for each class). I am not getting any page breaks! Also, in the body, I selected the alternate colors box (hoping that each student would alternate colors)and this isn't happening either. What am I doing wrong? |

Portals will not break across pages in subsummary reports the way you expect. Re-create your report in the child file. |

I suspect Mary is not using a separate file for this "child" but rather a separate table in FM7. Can a report belong to a "child table" rather than a "child file"? |
