Hi -- This is probably a really simple question -- if I have a database composed to two related files (FMP 6) and want to change their names, how do I do so without spoiling the existing relationship between them? thanks -- just don't want to screw this up. albert |

Say you have files AA and BB, and you want BB to be named CC. Do change 'BB' into 'CC'. When you'll call AA that has relationships to BB, it will ask you 'Where is BB ?'. You tell it that the "BB" file is now the file named CC. Almost done. You just have to verify all the scripts and the calculations calling for BB to see if there are missing links. If yes you redo them with CC. Remi-Noel "Albert" <asteg (AT) mindspring (DOT) com> a écrit dans le message de news: asteg-A5FB9F.16322613062005 (AT) new....earthlink.net...
