Can it be a speed gain if I split up the interface and the datastructure in two files, and have the interface file local on every computer and that this interface file use the datafile on a remote server? Is it possible, and is there som problmes with this way of building my new solution?? I am trying to figure out the best way of planning the rebuild of my filemaker reservationsystem with remote remote offices with fmp 7 (or fmp8..), and I feel that I have not broken the "code" to use fmp 7 the most optimal way yet... It would be great with som fundamental tips of thinking for fmp7. |
