Default Related Record in Portal - 10-18-2005 , 04:01 PM

I have a portal. I put a "Clear" button over the field "Customer Name"
I attached the script "Go to related record" to the button. Why does
it not go to the correct related record each time. It seems to only
work if I am pressing the top record in the portal.

Thanks
JC

If you can post your script for "Go to related record", then it would be
easier to help you. Also, please tell us what the relationship is for
the portal and for the script step.

Howard:

Actually, the button is attached to the built in script of fm " go to
related record".

The field is "Appointment" Date" I did a self-join using that field
as the match field.

Thanks

That's not a "built in script." It's a script step.

You say the clear button is "over the field Customer Name." That almost
sounds like the button is not in the portal row?
