Hello d-42,

Since it is possible that more than 5 users want to login in the system
together, I afraid I do need Filemaker Server Advanced.
No. You just need Filemaker Server.

You *only* need Filemaker Server Advanced for IWP, ODBC, and other
'advanced' stuff. Simply hosting filemaker to more than 5 users is
precisely what Filemaker Server is for.

There are 4 products:

You mentionend in
the message below that I should not change any settings in WS 2K3 and just
install FMPS Advanced and so on. The problem is that, since I could not
setup the system, I tried all kinds of things, also changing settings in
IIS. Is it possible to just remove FMPS Advanced and then reinstall it as
you described below or do I also have to reset settings in IIS.
I really hope you have some good news because I really want to get things
online.
I see in your next message that you got it working, so I won't worry
much about this. However, for the record, for your purposes the IIS
stuff is irrellevant, you could disable IIS entirely and FM would
still work. (in fact, I'd even recommend disabling it, if all you are
doing is running filemaker server.)

Dave
