You apparently don't have the master password for your files. If you
did, you can get yourself the opportunity to enter it by holding the
shift key (Windows) while opening the files. This forces the password
dialog to come up. If it normally doesn't ask for a password, that is
because a lower-level password has been added as the default.

Hello All!

I'm a newby in FileMaker, and have a problem with the FM application, my
customer has sent me to rewrite from the scratch.

This app is somehow protected, so when I open the main file, and enter
some login and password - it works perfectly, but I cant export all the
data out of it, only view records one by one, page by page. Some of the
files are opened, so I can go to the File menu, click on Export, and
export the data. Some (actually the most important ones) are not - when
I open them separatelly, I cant click on Export, cant click on Sharing,
cant change the Password or do anything else.

If somebody knows how to get data out of those files - it would be just
great! Or, if you know the way to protect the files in the way described
above - maybe it will help me to un-protect them. Please note, that when
I open those "closed" files in FM, it doesn't ask for a password at all
- it just disables some menu items, and thats all.

Thanks in advance!
Diel
